5W+2W COB LED Downlight , The Distinctive Design To Meet All Your Lighting Desires
This is a fully fitted 7W LED COB downlight , it is also a
integrated ceiling light fitting , with a discreet and stylish
white finish , it will be perfect for all home , commercial and
retail lighting applications.
COB is an acronym for ‘Chip on Board’ and is a relatively new development in LED lighting technology . It utilises a single large LED chip , rather than multiple ones , and is placed directly on a circuit board or ‘substrate’ which has excellent thermal heat-dispersing properties which significantly increase the lifespan of the bulb.
Due to this, the double color 5w+2w LED COB downlight will be an excellent replacement for a traditonal halogen and CFLs. As its extended 40,000 hour life expectancy is so much longer.
Its COB narrow 40° beam angle is another factor which might convince advocates of halogen bulbs to switch to this light , as it replicates the halogen’s beam almost identically.
Its short recess requirement will also be a great solution for ceilings in which space is at a premium.
About COB Color Temperature
Unlike its halogen counterpart , this LED light is available in two
colour temperatures which will also give you control over the
lighting ambience of your room .
Thus, living areas such as the lounge or the bedroom are most often lit with the warm white (3000K) variety because , it helps to create a relaxed, mellow atmosphere. The cool white (6000K) temperature is more suited to ‘work-related’ areas like the kitchen or your office space, its bright white light being altogether more utilitarian.
Highly Modern Effect and Comfortable Abmbience Brings You
This double color COB Led downlight emits light via two ways – one is through the conventional method via its central COB 7W , and the other is around the edge casing , where it emits a blue glow that uses 3W.
This creates a highly modern effect, cemented by the fact that you can choose whether you want each one on or not ! When you switch it on , the blue edge will be on. Switch it off and back on, and only the white (COB) light will be on.
Do it again, and both the blue edge light and central COB will be on. This gives you massive amounts of freedom, and opens up so much potential as to how you illuminate your commercial area, whether it’s an office, classroom, supermarket, or anywhere else.
Also theere are more color combintation for your choice, such as white+green , white + pink , white + red , white + warm white , white + blue etc.
